La production porcine en France : entre gains de productivité et réduction des rejets polluants

Abstract

L'article développe une mesure d'efficacité permettant d'évaluer les potentialités d'augmentation de la production des exploitations porcines françaises conjointement à une réduction de leur impact négatif sur l'environnement. Les résultats mettent en évidence une réduction des gains de productivité au cours de la période d'étude ; ceux-ci provenant principalement d'améliorations dans les performances techniques des exploitations. De plus, ils font ressortir le poids de plus en plus important des exploitations combinant plusieurs activités et ayant un lien à la terre important dans le secteur porcin.
