Abstract

Participant aux transformations des universités et, corrélativement, aux nouveaux contours de son propre métier et de sa propre identité professionnelle, l'enseignant-chercheur manager est confronté à la question de sa durabilité, sur l'ensemble des territoires symboliques que son métier et sa fonction exigent. Pour l'appréhender concrètement, deux études de cas, de type réflexif, ont été menées. L'analyse des résultats montre la (co)construction concrète des activités mais aussi le sens qu'elles portent et contribuent à générer, pour l'appréhension des contours des missions et de leur durabilité. La discussion permet de faire émerger plusieurs éléments concourant à comprendre cette dernière : la diversité des légitimités portées par l'enseignant-chercheur manager mais aussi sa capacité à accompagner le changement. Cette recherche suggère des pistes d'action pour le gestionnaire des ressources humaines.
