Abstract

Cette recherche en cours a pour but de construire et valider une échelle suivant une typologie des rôles des joueurs de MMORPG élaborée à partir de précédents résultats d'études qualitatives. Les joueurs de MMORPG peuvent adopter différents rôles en fonction de leur choix et de leur style de jeu. Cette typologie s'articule autour de deux axes à savoir le niveau de responsabilité acquis par le joueur et celui du travail en équipe à l'intérieur du jeu. Pour créer et valider cette nouvelle échelle de mesure, cette étude s'appuie sur le processus de construction propre au paradigme de Churchill.
