Abstract

Au-delà de l'approche classique, historique, philosophique, sociologique, …, du fonctionnement des diasporas, souvent exprimé en termes de réciprocité, solidarité, entraide, micro-entreprise... mais également d'ethnicité, nous nous intéresserons au concept de diaspora dans son acception actuelle. Nous retenons la définition de Brubaker (2005) pour lequel la diaspora est caractérisée par la dispersion —d'une catégorie de population—, l'attachement au pays d'origine, l'appartenance à une communauté (boundary maintenance). Nous étudierons son rôle composite et stratégique « d'infuenceur » des politiques économiques et managériales de développement des talents mais également de réducteur du « fardeau de l'extranéité » et des différentes formes de distance (culturelle, linguistique, économique, institutionnelle et géographique).
