Abstract

La considération des conséquences futures (CFC) se définit comme la prise en compte par un individu des potentielles et lointaines conséquences de ses comportements actuels et le fait que ces derniers soient influencés par ces conséquences potentielles (Strathman et al., 1994). L'échelle CFC a été créée par Strathman et al. (1994) mais sa structure factorielle ne fait pas l'unanimité dans les travaux académiques. De plus, certains auteurs ont mis en avant son caractère trop général et ont proposé ainsi d'adapter la CFC aux comportements étudiés. Partant de ces constats et des échelles existantes, cette recherche vise à proposer un instrument de mesure de la considération des conséquences futures adapté à l'alimentation et au contexte français. Les résultats obtenus suggèrent que le modèle unidimensionnel en 5 items de la CFC-Food est le plus adapté au contexte français
