Abstract

Le nombre de descriptions empiriques de phénomènes de coévolution en MS et plus largement en sciences organisationnelles s'est largement accru dans la dernière décennie. Une grande partie de ces travaux oublie toutefois de définir la coévolution. De plus, les rares références la théorisant ne présentent pas une définition constante du concept. La définition séminale étant biologique, son application dans les sciences organisationnelles implique son importation. Dans ce cadre, les transpositions analogiques opérées génèrent des difficultés d'ordre ontologique, épistémique, structurel et sémantique. L'analyse de l'ontogénèse de la coévolution en sciences organisationnelles dans 10 références théoriques révèle que les attributs définitoires et les objets connexes exploités varient en fonctions des choix d'importation des auteurs. Le morcellement paradigmatique dans le domaine source associé aux limites du processus de transposition analogique conduit à des emprunts partiels et disparates dont la portée et les limites sont variables. Une transposition métaphorique est proposée pour dépasser ces difficultés.
