Abstract

L'insertion de l'agriculture dans le monde économique et social moderne se traduit par un recours accru aux services des institutions financières. En effet, l'accumulation du capital dans cette branche s'accélère en raison de la substitution marquée du capital au travail, et du développement de techniques exigeantes en matière d'équipements, de bâtiments.... D'autre part, le compétition pour le foncier est source d'endettement très important. Compétition liée à la recherche de nouvelles terres pour rentabiliser un matériel coûteux, généralement peu utilisé, ou course due au souci de contrôler cet outil de production qu'est le sol quand le fermier en place voit mettre en vente l'exploitation qu'il cultive.
