Abstract

En accompagnement de la nouvelle PAC, un régime de préretraite s'applique en France à partir de 1992. Même si cette politique ne vise pas en priorité les agriculteurs à bas revenu, n'a-t-elle pas pour effet d'accélérer la diminution du nombre et de la durée des emplois agricoles peu rémunérés ? Selon les résultats d'une enquête relative aux années 1992-1993 un tel impact a eu lieu, bien que d'ampleur restreinte. L'influence des multiples facteurs qui déterminent l'arbitrage entre le départ en préretraite et la poursuite de l'activité agricole a été testée.
