Les jeunes ruraux et la politique en France

Abstract

L'enquête nationale par questionnaire sur les jeunes ruraux réalisée pendant l'hiver 1987-1988 (avec O. Galland) révèle beaucoup de désintérêt et de méconnaissance politique: 38 pour cent des jeunes étaient incapables d'indiquer un seul des partis auxquels appartenaient Messieurs Barre, Chirac, Lajoinie et Rocard; la compétence politique s'avère liée surtout au niveau scolaire. Cela tient notamment à la réduction des enjeux politiques à une alternance entre deux versions d'un même modèle de société, largement accepte, au besoin a reformer (mais sans grand espoir), le Front National étant l'exutoire des plus précaires et des moins diplômés.
