La première région laitière face aux quotas. Perspectives: vers une rationalisation inéluctable

Abstract

Cet article restitue les résultats provisoires d'une recherche en cours sur les conséquences des quotas laitiers pour l'agriculture bretonne. La Bretagne est la première région laitière française et tous les domaines de l'activité agroalimentaire sont touches directement ou indirectement: structures d'exploitation, productions et systèmes de production, industrie de transformation. Des incertitudes subsistent cependant quant aux conditions d'application des quotas et aux réactions des agents économiques concernés; un raisonnement en termes de scenarios permet de situer le cadre à l'intérieur duquel s'engage l'agriculture régionale a l'horizon 1990, dans les différents domaines évoqués.
