Abstract

Les initiatives d'économie Sociale et Solidaire sont pensées par leurs promoteurs comme une réponse locale à des besoins localisés, se différenciant de démarches imposant des modèles ou des directives conçus/pensés depuis l'extérieur. Comment alors considérer les rapports et les apports aux dynamiques des territoires des entreprises d'économie Sociale et Solidaire (ESS), celle-ci étant constituée en France des associations, coopératives, mutuelles et fondations ? Ce texte a pour objectif de rendre compte de l'intérêt d'une observation de l'ESS pour la compréhension des dynamiques des territoires, à partir de travaux conduits en Pays de la Loire ces dernières années
