Abstract

Cet article porte sur l'expansion internationale des start-ups qui sont accompagnées par un incubateur universitaire. Les auteurs étudient les différentes modalités de développement international qui peuvent être utilisées par des start-up. Ils analysent 26 projets de création qui ont été proposés par des étudiants-entrepreneurs à l'incubateur de l'Université Jean Moulin Lyon, et plusieurs entretiens menés avec les entrepreneurs incubés. L'étude empirique réalisée montre que les jeunes entrepreneurs envisagent des trajectoires d'internationalisation variées, notamment au niveau de la sélection des marchés géographiques. Ils privilégient les exportations directes et une internationalisation progressive de leurs activités. Leurs attentes vis-à-vis de l'incubateur concernent également leur démarche d'expansion internationale.
