L'innovation, condition de succès de la relocalisation pour la PME

Abstract

Les études empiriques ont bien identifié les déterminants de la relocalisation pour les PME françaises au cours des années 2000. Dix ans plus tard, nous avons le recul nécessaire pour analyser les conséquences de la relocalisation sur l'activité de l'entreprise. Si la théorie traditionnelle du commerce international montre que la déspécialisation est irréversible et univoque, la relocalisation des entreprises infirme ce postulat. Le courant néo-technologique (Vernon) montre l'importance de l'innovation. Dès lors, nous entendons montrer : quel type d'innovation est mis en place suite à une relocalisation ? L'étude de cas unique longitudinale sur la coopérative ATOL permet d'étudier les types d'innovation (d'exploration et d'exploitation) mis en place, afin de rendre la relocalisation pérenne.
