Abstract

La recherche en logistique et supply chain management (SCM) connaît depuis de nombreuses années une incontestable vitalité, en retenant l'attention de différentes communautés scientifiques. Si les enjeux managériaux, en termes d'avantage concurrentiel durable, sont désormais connus et étudiés, il serait maladroit de minimiser les enjeux sociétaux, notamment en termes d'usage écologique de ressources rares, par le biais de transports mutualisés, d'un entreposage HQE, ou encore d'un recyclage efficace des produits en fin de vie. Adopter des éclairages à la fois managériaux et sociétaux sur les multiples images que véhicule la logistique constitue l'un des défis majeurs de ce siècle qu'il s'agit impérativement de relever. Tel est l'objectif que se fixent les 29 chapitres rassemblés dans le présent ouvrage, rédigés par des experts de notoriété internationale venus d'une douzaine de pays ; ils mobilisent pour l'occasion un large spectre de perspectives d'analyse et de points de vue critiques qui devraient intéresser autant les chercheurs que les étudiants et les praticiens.
