Abstract

Varun Grover est l'un des chercheurs les plus prolifiques du domaine des systèmes d'information avec un total de plus de 250 publications, parmi lesquels plus de 65 articles dans les huit revues de référence de l'AIS (AIS Senior Scholars' Basket of Journals ), et plus de trente publications ayant chacune récoltée plus de 200 citations. Dans ses travaux, Varun Grover s'est intéressé à un large éventail de problématiques liées à l'usage, l'exploitation et l'impact des technologies de l'information et de la communication (TIC) dans les organisations. Ses travaux se caractérisent par le souci constant de la pertinence : il est proche du terrain et des problèmes que rencontrent les entreprises, il observe les évolutions technologiques et économiques et les intègre dans son spectre d'analyse. Il construit systématiquement son analyse sur les données empiriques qu'il récolte auprès d'une grande variété d'utilisateurs. L'objectif de ce chapitre est de résumer l'ensemble de ses travaux et de donner un aperçu de ses principales contributions au domaine des systèmes d'information.
