Abstract

Le Sud-Ouest est de nouveau frappé depuis l'automne par une « crise » de grippe aviaire qui s'est accompagnée de l'abattage de centaines de milliers de canards. Au-delà du formidable gâchis pour l'ensemble d'une profession, du gaspillage alimentaire associé et surtout du caractère répugnant/révulsant d'un tel massacre d'animaux, cette « crise » nous invite à une relecture de type « chronique d'une mort annoncée » à la lumière des sciences de gestion. Il ne nous semble pas inutile de décrypter la situation (comment en est-on arrivé là ?), en tirer quelques enseignements (pourquoi cela pourrait-il se reproduire ?) et de formuler, pour éviter de recommencer, certaines recommandations qui nous concernent tous ! Comment en est-on arrivé là ? Pourquoi cela pourrait-il se reproduire ? Que faire, maintenant ?
