Siemens : comment développer une nouvelle vision pour les business units ?

Abstract

Siemens est fragilisé par un scandale de corruption. La révélation de ces faits pousse à l'éviction en 2007 de son président et du président du directoire. Depuis, une vaste réorganisation a été menée. Le cas soulève une question cruciale : comment évaluer le moment idéal pour aligner la structure avec l'organisation, et plus précisément comment recombiner les différentes Business Units du groupe ? Il décrit un fragment de l'histoire du groupe qui, de 2010 à 2015, s'est engagé dans des activités de réalignement structurel réalisé à partir d'une série de recombinaison d'activités. Il illustre une défaillance dans la gestion des domaines d'activités (2010-2013) et est un bon exemple de groupe ayant utilisé les dynamiques respectives de chaque domaine d'activité pour réussir son redéploiement stratégique.
