Abstract

Aujourd'hui, première puissance économique au monde, la Chine ne cesse d'améliorer sa performance économique par l'augmentation croissante de ses parts de marché. Qualifiée de « Puissance Africaine », du fait du terrain favorable en termes d'approvisionnement en matières premières et de débouchés de ses produits, la Chine est aujourd'hui le premier partenaire économique de l'Afrique. Cette communication montre comment la Chine assoie son développement économique sur une stratégie expansionniste, nourrie par des relations historiques et surfant sur les cruciaux enjeux de développement des pays de l'Afrique, plus particulièrement dans les pays de l'UEMOA. Ainsi, se développe progressivement la stratégie payante « matières premières contre infrastructures » au détriment d'une modèle déstructuré de l'économie de ces pays engagés dans une relation à priori qualifiée de « win-win »
