Abstract

As a method of governing individual behavior, management requires a profound standardization of bodies and souls. Based on both the history of managerial thought and visual studies, this research tries to show how this result is achieved. The main hypothesis is that the dogmatic memory of management is apparent in communication. A case study (a corporate campaign led by the French group Vinci) supports this analysis, emphasizing to what extent the original matrix of management appearing in the background of commercials normalizes forcefully individuals.
