Abstract

Dans le contexte de la grande distribution japonaise, le grossiste joue un rôle prépondérant en tant qu'intermédiaire. Au travers de l'analyse des sources de pouvoir dans les relations inter-organisationnelles, cette communication se propose d'identifier les ressources et les leviers qui fondent le pouvoir des grands grossistes japonais en s'appuyant sur une analyse qualitative de données récoltées auprès de professionnels et d'experts des canaux de distribution japonaise (35 entretiens). Dans un premier temps, une revue de littérature synthétise les sources de pouvoir dans les relations inter-organisationnelles, et plus précisément celles caractérisées par des échanges relationnels. Dans un second temps, les compétences des grossistes en termes de maîtrise des flux informationnels, physiques et financiers dans le canal permettent d'identifier les sources principales de pouvoir sur lesquelles les grossistes capitalisent pour jouer un double rôle de filtre et de tampon facilitant ainsi la relation.
