Social entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility : appropriate link in developing countries ? cas study in Senegal[Entrepreneuriat social et stratégies RSE de grandes entreprises : un rapprochement opportun dans les pays en développement ? Etude de cas au Sénégal]

the topic of this article is to study the dynamics of business models born of collaboration between a large company and a social entrepreneur in the context of predominantly informal économy, to manufacture and market orignal products and/or services intended for the excluded and vulnerable. The business models that we analyze are : social enterprise, La Laiterie du Berger (LDB), which collects, processes and markets milk products in Senegal and the association CTIC Dakar, which is an incubator for small and medium entreprises operating in the areas of technology, information and communication. LDB is supported by Danone Communities. As for CTIC Dakar il relies on the skills and ressources of CSR teams of the French group Orange and its Senegalese subsidiary Sonatel. This work based on a literature review, semi-structured interviews and observational data, draws particular attention to the sometimes perverse effect of labeling "CSR product", "social Enterprise" associated with this type of business models for their development.
