Abstract

This article studies the multi-actor collaboration in the service innovation using the concept of ServPPINs (Public-Private Innovation Network in Services). It addresses new collaborative mechanisms in which the solutions to societal problems are based on the integration of novelties in technology and services, and which appreciate partnerships, negotiation and trust between actors. The study examines service innovations tackling sustainability issues in the environmental and energy sector.
