La lean production et ses effets sur la satisfaction et la santé au travail. Résultats croisés d’une analyse quantitative et d’une étude de cas

Abstract

L'objet de cet article est de tester l'effet de quatre pratiques de travail caractéristiques de la lean production - polyvalence, forte intensité du travail, faible autonomie procédurale et management de la qualité totale - sur la satisfaction et sur la santé au travail au travers du croisement des résultats d'une étude de cas et d'une analyse quantitative (exploitation de l'enquête Sumer 2002-2003). Notre étude souligne qu'un certain nombre de pratiques de travail liées au modèle lean production (polyvalence, forte intensité du travail, faible autonomie procédurale, management de la qualité totale via les normes ISO) sont générateurs d'une dégradation de la satisfaction et de la santé au travail.
