CITODAB. Le développement de l’Agriculture biologique en Midi‐Pyrénées : les diagnostics du projet CITODAB

Abstract

L'agriculture biologique représente 3,3% de la SAU totale en Midi‐Pyrénées, ce qui situe la région en 7ème position au palmarès national (Agence Bio, 2010). L'AB s'y est développée dans une grande diversité de contextes, par la conversion d'exploitations aux orientations et aux potentialités très diversifiées. Au niveau de la production, des difficultés techniques obèrent la viabilité des exploitations. Les filières se mettent en place progressivement dans un monde socio‐économique très changeant. La consommation régionale de produits, notamment dans le domaine de la restauration collective, valorise encore insuffisamment la production régionale. Le projet CITODAB se propose d'étudier, dans un cadre scientifique pluridisciplinaire et en partenariat avec les professionnels concernés, les freins organisationnels et techniques au développement de l'AB en Midi‐Pyrénées, et d'identifier les voies d'amélioration mobilisables pour les lever.
