Abstract

Nous mobilisons l'approche économique du territoire pour appréhender la relation entre ressources territoriales et vulnérabilité des territoires ruraux. Nous nous appuyons sur l'analyse des systèmes agroalimentaires localisés (syal) en Amérique latine qui insiste sur l'activation des ressources spécifiques à travers une action collective visant à la définition d'une stratégie de développement territorial dans des zones rurales. Nous prenons aussi en compte certains travaux proches effectués dans le cadre du programme Rtd-Rimisp sur les dynamiques territoriales rurales en Amérique latine. Ces travaux permettent de s'interroger sur les facteurs qui permettent à certains territoires ruraux d'échapper au risque de marginalisation. Nous entendons montrer que la demande exprimée par les zones urbaines vis-à-vis de l'ensemble des biens et services produits par ces territoires est un facteur important de consolidation de ces dynamiques de développement local.
