Changements organisationnels et dynamiques institutionnelles à l'ère de la sélection génomique : la "création génétique" Holstein en Europe

Abstract

La sélection génomique (SG), développée dans le domaine de la sélection des bovins laitiers en France et à l'international depuis 2009, reconfigure les rapports entre les acteurs de la sélection animale. L'objectif de cette thèse est d'analyser ces reconfigurations au travers d'une étude de l'organisation des rapports entre acteurs dans trois pays européens contrastés, et d'identifier les différentes logiques institutionnelles à l'œuvre, leurs tensions ou leurs combinaisons dans la production d'ordre institutionnel définissant différentes formes de gouvernement du vivant. Comment la sélection génomique modifie-t-elle la gouvernance d'une race en tension entre dimension commune et dimension marchande ? Dans quelles logiques s'inscrivent ces changements d'organisation, de pratiques ? Quels sont leurs impacts sur les activités de « création génétique » et la gestion de la race ?
