Abstract

La gestion stratégique s'impose aujourd'hui comme une composante incontournable de la gestion des exploitations agricoles. Mais force est de constater que les travaux dans ce domaine restent encore peu développés et les approches stratégiques sont assez peu formalisées. Cet article propose un cadre théorique et méthodologique pour analyser les stratégies des exploitations agricoles. Il s'appuie sur l'étude des stratégies de diversification agricole dans soixante-treize exploitations. Les résultats montrent une diversité de stratégies et de processus stratégiques. Il est important de souligner la coexistence de ces différents processus et leurs liens avec le cycle de vie de l'exploitation. La pertinence du cadre d'analyse proposé est discutée à la lumière de cette application empirique.
