Abstract

Face aux nombreux cloisonnements et coûts cachés que subissent les services cliniques comme la pharmacie à usage intérieur à l'hôpital, une démarche volontariste et délibérée initiée par le pharmacien chef de service permet de mettre en place des actions concrètes pour améliorer la coopération et la qualité de prise en charge des patients. Pour ce faire, une démarche structurée et méthodique est nécessaire, telle que le management socio-économique : dans un premier temps écouter le personnel de la pharmacie comme des services cliniques, sur les dysfonctionnements qu'ils subissent du fait de ce manque de coopération et calculer avec eux les coûts cachés qui en découlent. Cet article illustre les dysfonctionnements et leurs impacts à partir d'exemples concrets. Il montre comment l'action des préparateurs en pharmacie dans les unités de soins permet de dégager du temps, d'améliorer la qualité de prise en charge des patients, ainsi que la satisfaction des uns et des autres, cadres et personnels de la pharmacie et des services cliniques. Pour ce faire, il suffit que le pharmacien chef de service initie ce processus d'amélioration avec détermination, et qu'il trouve deux unités cliniques avec lesquelles il aura négocié de s'engager dans ce processus.
