Abstract

Les dirigeants d'entreprises cotées sont soumis à des pressions significatives de la part de différentes parties prenantes réagissant à leurs principales décisions publiquement communiquées. Ces différentes pressions, tout comme une réflexion plus profonde sur la nature de la mission et du rôle des entreprises, interpellent sur la responsabilité propre de ces acteurs. Si le débat a largement été traité par les théories de la gouvernance, cet article s'intéresse à caractériser empiriquement, à partir des discours des dirigeants eux-mêmes, leurs principales logiques d'engagement. Ceci est le reflet, dans le contexte organisationnel, de la définition de leur responsabilité.
