Abstract

By 2030, the demographic prospects of France and Europe are predicting an aging population and a "gerontogrowth". A comparison with the United States and Turkey is made. But the analysis shows that the demographic prospects are very varied according to the main countries: France, Italy, Spain, Germany, United Kingdom and Poland. A third part examines the trends and prospects of international migration in Europe, highlighting the diversity of situations between European countries.
