Abstract

Comment comparer les réformes des systèmes de santé de différents pays, du point de vue de l'équité ? La croissance économique peut-elle constituer une obligation à l'égard des générations futures ? Les critiques adressée à l'Islam au nom de la laïcité sont-elles compatibles avec le libéralisme politique? La philosophie politique de Rawls a inspiré de véritables champs de recherche sur des thématiques aussi variées que les fondements de l'égalité des chances, l'évaluation des politiques publiques ou encore la démocratie délibérative. Les contributeurs à ce volume - pour la plupart des collaborateurs proches de Rawls - se penchent sur l'héritage que Rawls nous a laissé et sur celui qu'il avait lui-même reçu. la publication récente de la Brève inverstigation sur la signification du péché et de la foi, la mémoire de licence que rawls avait rédigé à Princeton en 1942, nous offre l'occasion de réfléchir aux rapports entre religion et éthique et, surtout, à leurs influences réciproques.
