Abstract

La dynamique de l'environnement et l'intensité concurrentielle du secteur informatique ont amené les SSII à se ruer vers l'adoption de différentes méthodes de développement de projet en les considérant comme facteurs d'excellence technique et de productivité. La méthode classique de développement des projets SI permet de maîtriser le périmètre du projet et de comprendre la structure et les activités du projet. Cependant, elle s'adapte difficilement au changement. La méthode Agile serait alors, selon plusieurs chercheurs, plus adéquate au développement des produits SI de plus en plus complexes. Cette méthode encourage la communication entre les acteurs projet et intègre le client dans les différentes phases de développement. Afin d'explorer et comprendre la méthode Agile et sa relation avec la complexité, nous avons mené une étude de cas dans une SSII européenne. Les résultats de notre recherche montrent la pertinence de la méthode Agile dans la gestion de la complexité du développement des projets SI.
