Abstract

Territorial clusters of economic cooperation (PTCE) have been recognized in the Social economy law in 2014. As multi-stakeholders organization working on local projects of sustainable development, they mostly tend to be considered as bottom-up initiatives and the literature highlights their collective character. Building on the ongoing studies, we first characterize the morphology and the organizational form of the clusters from a static perspective. Then, we show the interest of a processual approach by focusing on the trajectory of the leading organization. We proceed with two case studies in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, in France.
