Abstract

[English] ecause of the premature end of sportive careers, professional players have to anticipate the next step of their professional life. Thanks to the intelligent career (Arthur et al., 1995) and subjective career (Parker, 2002, 2009) approaches, this research lightens sportsmen's strategies as regard to such career transitions. Relying on twenty interviews, we expose a typology of four career strategies, as well as the differential factors which specify them.
