Abstract

Dans cet article, il est proposé une méthode simple pour mesurer la structure d'un GHT en s'appuyant sur une dizaine d'indicateurs d'activité que l'on peut tirer de données publiques accessibles sur des sites Internet tels que ScanSanté (www.scansante.fr) ou Hospidiag (www.hospidiag.atih.sante.fr). Ces données sont croisées avec les populations des zones de proximité des établissements hospitaliers. La volonté d'améliorer l'accès, la qualité et la continuité des soins pousse au maintien d'un maillage assez fin de centres hospitaliers sur le territoire national et parait en contradiction avec le regroupement d'activités qu'imposent par ailleurs les exigences d'efficience et de sécurité des soins. Se retrouvent en effet, sur un même territoire, une répartition de la population et une répartition de l'offre de soins qui ne peuvent être parfaitement corrélées.
