Du jardin d'Eden aux jardins partagés, comment l'agriculture cultive les valeurs démocratiques, Paris, La Découverte, collection « Les Empêcheurs de penser en rond », 2016, 253 p. Extraits de la recension : « Joëlle Zask, spécialiste de philosophie politique et du pragmatisme, recherche dans son nouvel ouvrage l'empreinte politique du monde paysan qui, dans ses relations cultivateurs / terres cultivées, contribue, c'est la thèse centrale de cet essai, au développement des valeurs démocratiques et à la formation de la citoyenneté. (…) Joëlle Zask propose finalement un éloge du jardinage comme expérience sociale et comme champ d'épanouissement des valeurs démocratiques en invitant le lecteur à cheminer dans le temps long de l'histoire de l'agriculture. »
