La culture dans les trois sens du terme à l’ère du numérique en Méditerranée

Abstract

Au risque d'être banalisé, galvaudé, le contenu du mot culture s'est étendu au fil du temps en intégrant de nouvelles dimensions et en s'ouvrant à des publics de plus en plus larges. Ces dimensions ont la connaissance pour origine commune. La culture revêt aujourd'hui trois sens différents et complémentaires. Elle se réfère à la beauté des oeuvres humaines, au savoir faire et à l'efficacité dans les activités professionnelles, elle est enfin un élément clé du lien social dans les collectivités humaines. À ces trois points de vue l'ère numérique qui concerne le monde entier ouvre de larges opportunités aux pays du Sud de la Méditerranée. Nous citerons quelques uns de ces apports susceptibles de favoriser la transition culturelle du monde arabe.
