Abstract

Catastrophes industrielles, accidents du travail et du trajet, suicides et tentatives de suicide, violences sexuelles, violences interpersonnelles, violences crapuleuses, voire violences psychologiques… l'extension du domaine du trauma n'épargne pas le monde du travail. Étonnamment, l'épidémiologie officielle des traumas liés au travail contredit la quasi-banalité des ressentis traumatiques exprimés. Plus qu'un énième manuel de psychotraumatologie, cet ouvrage s'efforce d'identifier les spécificités du traumatisme physique survenant en contexte de travail, en soulignant les processus psychologiques à l'œuvre chez les victimes et les impliqués, et le rôle des intervenants internes ou externes dans la prise en charge, la construction de la résilience, la prévention ou la mise en récit du traumatisme professionnel.
