Abstract

Qu'est-ce que le marché ? C'est le lieu où vont se rencontrer offreurs et demandeurs. Dans la théorie économique standard, le modèle idéal est celui de la concurrence pure et parfaite. Dans ce modèle, l'entreprise est en concurrence et vend son produit à son coût marginal de production, ce qui maximise le bien-être social, donc la meilleure des situations pour les consommateurs. Mais est-ce la meilleure solution pour une société en développement ? Pas sûr ! C'est ce que nous allons essayer de montrer, d'une part en étudiant les relations entre incitations à innover et marchés et, d'autre part, en regardant les liens entre les évolutions de droits de propriété intellectuelle et la complexification de l'accès au marché.
