Abstract

La gestion intégrée de la logistique revêt un véritable enjeu en regard de la performance globale de l'organisation hospitalière. Or, les discours des hospitaliers cantonnent souvent la logistique à des activités d'intendance. Il convient de dépasser cette vision, pour adopter une approche plus globale, de gestion des flux physiques par les flux d'information. Cela conduit à analyser le concept logistique dans une activité de service spécifique, en distinguant notamment la logistique traditionnelle (gestion des flux physiques) de la logistique de service (pilotage des trajectoires de patients). Cet article met en évidence une typologie des stades de développement de la logistique dans les hôpitaux publics français.
