Abstract

Actuellement nous remarquons l'apparition de plus en plus d'outils dédiés à la démarche de l'intelligence économique. Ces outils, ont souvent pour but d'aider les entreprises à maîtriser leur organisation interne et à comprendre leur environnement par l'acquisition, le classement l'analyse et l'interprétation et l'exploitation systématiques d'informations. Ces outils sont classés en deux types. Le premier concerne les systèmes de gestion de l'information, qui permettent une manipulation massive des données opérationnelles et l'extraction de connaissances. Le deuxième type d'outils consiste à systématiser la collecte et l'analyse des informations à partir d'un environnement concurrentiel pour l'aide à la prise de décision stratégique. Nous ne nions pas l'importance de ces outils dans la réussite de la démarche de l'intelligence économique, surtout avec la surabondance de l'information. Cependant, la phase de l'analyse des besoins d'information n'a pas bénéficié d'autant de recherche et de réflexion de la part des chercheurs qui s'intéressent à l'intelligence économique. Dans ce papier nous mettons l'accent sur cette étape de définition des besoins qui constitue logiquement et chronologiquement la première étape dans la démarche de l'intelligence économique
