Abstract

Aujourd'hui, plusieurs éléments signalent la place grandissante qu'occupe le secteur privé dans l'économie chinoise, un secteur privé dont on voudrait essayer ici de définir les contours. On reviendra d'abord sur les conditions de l'émergence d'un secteur économique privé au cours des vingt années de réformes. C'est non seulement une réalité économique et sociale nouvelle qui émerge, mais aussi un corpus de textes juridiques et réglementaires qui est élaboré. Dans un deuxième temps, on montrera qu'à bien des égards, cette clarification des normes reste inachevée ; un certain nombre d'éléments viennent brouiller l'image d'un secteur privé dont les contours seraient nettement définis. Enfin, on tentera une évaluation de l'économie privée au sein de l'économie chinoise.
