Abstract

Il est un lieu commun assez répandu qui se contente, avec quelque fainéantise, d'opposer les dernières avancées du management au taylorisme alors réduit au rôle de repoussoir. S'opposer au management scientifique serait déjà en soi un gage de légitimité. C'est contre cet état d'esprit à la mémoire trop courte que nous retournons au texte fondateur des Principes du Management Scientifique pour en proposer une lecture subversive : nous proposons alors la thèse paradoxale que le projet taylorien de rationalisation du travail repose sur la bienveillance et l'amitié.
