Abstract

Cet article se propose d'introduire en recherche sur la consommation les reformulations récentes de l'approche bourdieusienne proposée par Bernard Lahire. Ses travaux rendent compte de pratiques culturelles dissonantes à l'échelle individuelle. Ils questionnent l'unicité de l'habitus, l'autonomie relative des champs et l'homologie des pratiques sociales proposées par Bourdieu. Ils pourraient contribuer fortement à la recherche sur la consommation sur trois points. (1) Ils reformulent les concepts bourdieusiens de manière à mieux répondre aux problématiques d'une société faite d'individus pluriels mais néanmoins multi-déterminés. (2) Ils réaffirment l'importance de l'échelle individuelle d'analyse des forces sociales que risquerait de masquer des approches plus subjectivistes. (3) Ils proposent une voie pour appréhender la socialisation via l'articulation entre contextes par l'incorporation de dispositions.
