Abstract

L'objectif de cette recherche est de compléter les recherches portant sur le RedQueen Effect (RQE) en détaillant les stratégies d'innovation continue mises enplace par les différentes entreprises dans une industrie. Les résultats de l'étude de cas longitudinale de l'industrie du rasage pour hommes de 1898 à 2012, montrent comment les entreprises font varier le type d'innovation (radical vs. incrémental) tout en maintenant un équilibre entre les deuxet en accélérant leur rythme de lancement dans le temps. Par ailleurs, contrairement à la littérature, les entreprises de cette industrie profitent des effets bénéfiques du RQE sans en subir les conséquences négatives.
