«Je t'aime... Moi non plus !»: De la marginalisation à l'intégration de l'industrie du cinéma pornographique dans le réseau Blu-Ray

Abstract

En adoptant la théorie de l'acteur-réseau (Actor-Network Theory, ANT) comme cadre théorique, cet article a pour objectif de s'intéresser à la manière dont des actants situés à la périphérie d'un réseau soutenant une innovation peuvent agir pour réussir à ouvrir et intégrer ce réseau qui leur est jusque-là fermé. Pour ce faire, le cas de l'industrie du cinéma pornographique faisant face à la fermeture initiale du réseau Blu-Ray lors de la guerre de standards pour le DVD haute-définition, est étudié. Les résultats permettent d'introduire un concept nouveau, celui d'actant « marginalisé », c'est-à-dire d'actant rejeté à la périphérie du réseau contre sa volonté. Les résultats soulignent également qu'un actant « marginalisé » doit adopter des logiques de résistance spécifiques pour se faire ouvrir le réseau, en modifiant notamment son identité. Enfin, l'analyse détaillée des relations entre cet actant « marginalisé » et ceux au centre du réseau permet de comprendre comment se structurent
