Abstract

Ce cas a pour objectif de mettre en évidence le leadership dans la relation de pouvoir entre deux entités dans le cas particulier de la 33e America's Cup. L'America's Cup est la plus vieille compétition sportive (1851) et la plus prestigieuse des compétitions de voile par équipe. Le sport connaît un développement considérable entraînant des luttes de pouvoir entre les organisations désireuses de maximiser les différentes retombées. Ainsi, le conflit sur l'America's Cup 2010 doit permettre d'identifier les positions des participants et d'essayer de comprendre quelles stratégies mettre en place, au travers de différentes coalitions, afin de favoriser leur position.
