Abstract

The COP21 reconfirmed the indispensable role of the reduction of CO2 emissions to limit global warming. To this end, new technologies can be a determinant lever. A study undertaken by ANCRE (a French government backed energy think tank and modulator) stresses the importance of massive investment in these technologies to succeed in a deep decarbonation of the world's energy system.
