Abstract

Les mutations sociologiques et technologiques récentes ont profondément modifié le comportement des consommateurs. Entre autres, Internet a permis le développement de relations interactives entre firmes et individus, remettant ainsi en cause l'organisation des filières. Après un rappel des évolutions des marchés de consommation au cours des dernières décennies, et de l'impact de ces évolutions sur les modèles d'affaires, nous retraçons l'évolution d'Apple sur les marchés de l'informatique, de la musique et enfin des télécommunications, et montrons comment son métier initial de développeur de produits s'est élargi à un métier de distributeur de services et de contenus. Nous analysons comment son entrée sur les marchés de la musique tout d'abord, des services en mobilité ensuite, a bousculé les chaînes de valeur établies, et étudions les nouveaux modèles d'affaires apparus sur ces marchés.
