Abstract

The paper introduces the context of the port activities and the main features of the port maintenance activities. It details the maintenance-oriented computer systems in use to manage maintenance activities in Fos-Marseille container Terminal. Then the paper define the objectives of the diagnosis and maintenance aid expert system and its the technical features. It details the organisation and execution of the research to develop the expert system and its development stages before concluding.
